Fitness Instructor
The Leisure Club here at Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa is the heart of the resort, welcoming regular members, hotel guests and day visitors. We have a swimming pool, gymnasium and outdoor crazy golf, pitch and putt and a bowls green. We are currently looking for a Qualified Fitness Instructor to join our team.
The role involves ensuring that all members and guests receive a high level of customer service while carrying out duties to maintain the efficient running of the leisure facilities in a safe, controlled environment. You will demonstrate how to operate equipment safely and effectively, create individual programmes for members to achieve their goals, and deliver fun and engaging classes. This role combines fitness duties such as gym inductions and leading group fitness classes, maintaining cleanliness and order in the facilities and changing rooms, and covering the reception desk to help welcome our members.
You’ll have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent fitness qualification, and ideally, possess Level 3 or other exercise class instructor qualifications. A pool responder qualification is required, or you must be willing to complete the course. You will be full of enthusiasm and enjoy talking to people, as well as motivating others. You’ll feel confident in acting as an expert, offering suitable advice on health and fitness tailored to individuals’ goals and aspirations. Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, welcoming, and positive approach.
