Dining
Weekends, special events and school holidays can be busy, therefore we’d always recommend booking in advance. Book online on the dining page of our website or contact our reception team on 01572 757901 who will be happy to book a table for you.
On the resort, we have our ever-popular Blossoms bar and restaurant. We are proud to offer international cuisine and delectable food choices, carefully curated and crafted by our Executive Chef, Sumit Chakrabarty. You can find our current menus on the dining page of our website. Should you prefer to eat out, our reception team will be able to help point you in the direction of nearby cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants.
Leisure
It is advisable to pre-book your swim time by calling our Leisure desk on 01572 757901 (ext. 8). Bookings are 1 hours slots and are subject to availability. Between 8:30am-3:00pm on weekdays, bookings are not required, simply check-in at the Leisure Reception.
Our guests have direct access to Rutland Water and the walking and cycling trails. The family trail starts at eight miles, with the full circuit clocking up twenty-three miles.
Rutland may be England’s smallest county, but there are many places of interest, things to do as a family or activities for a rainy-day in this historic county. Set at its heart is Rutland Water, an area of outstanding beauty, popular for cycling, fishing, bird-watching and watersports.
A five-minute drive from Rutland Hall Hotel is Whitwell, one of several tourist sites around Rutland Water. Guests can hire cycles from Rutland Cycling.
Yes, of course, but we can’t be responsible for their safety, so do ensure you bring sufficient bicycle locks and chains.
Yes, guests are welcome to enjoy the leisure facilities during their stay. The swimming complex and the gym are free to use. There is a small fee for crazy golf, pitch and putt, table tennis and bowls.
Under 16’s are not permitted to use the gym, with or without supervision.
Rooms, Lodges & Apartments
We are in the process of introducing high-speed Wi-Fi in all our self-catered accommodation, lodges and apartments but is not currently available.
We are currently offering WiFi in all our public areas such as bar, restaurant, reception and leisure club for guests who login through our system and provide their KYC information. All hotel bedrooms are equipped with WiFi access points, and hotel residents will be able to use the WiFi for the duration of their stay.
Hotel bedrooms: check-in from 3pm / check-out by 10.30am – these times are applicable on all arrival and departure days.
Lodges: check-in from 4pm / check-out by 10am – these times are applicable on all arrival and departure days.
Should you require an early check-in and/or a late check-out, please call our reception team on 01572 757 901. Requests will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability. All agreed early arrival and late departure requests will be charged at an additional cost of £10 per hour, per room.
Our Deluxe Double and Superior Double rooms, along with The Windsor Suite all have views across Rutland Water.

General
Yes we do. With space to play, beautiful grounds to explore and long countryside walks, Rutland Hall Hotel is the perfect retreat for your four-legged friends. Canine companions are welcome within select accommodation, the grounds and outside terrace. These are charged at £25 per dog per night in hotel rooms, and £10.00 per dog per night in our self-catering accommodations.
Centrebus operate a No.9 bus service between Oakham and Stamford.
The nearest stop to Rutland Hall Hotel is Whitwell, which is approximately four miles from the hotel.

Rutland Water can be accessed directly from the hotel grounds. For guests who are on foot, there is a stile that leads directly onto the footpath surrounding Rutland Water. If you have bikes, the best access is to exit the hotel site via the main entrance and a right turn will take you straight onto the trail, less than 100m from the hotel entrance. If you are driving, make your way around the water and you will find various, well sign posted, access points to Rutland Water. Visit the Discover Rutland website for everything you need to know.
Both bedroom blocks have a lift. There is no lift in the main house. Should you require any assistance with your luggage or prefer to have your stay in a ground floor room, please advise us at the time of booking.
