Bookings made on a Flexible Rate are subject to a 48-hour cancellation period and require a card to be provided to secure the booking. This card will be charged for the full amount of the stay within 48 hours prior to arrival. Bookings can be cancelled without charge before 3pm,48 hours prior to arrival. If the booking is cancelled after this time, then we will charge you for each night booked.

 Bookings made on an Advanced Purchase Rates are subject to a minimum advance booking period and require full pre-payment at the time of booking. These bookings and payments are non-refundable, non-amendable and non-transferable.

 For security purposes, you must bring the card that you used and present it at check-in.

If you do not check-in on the scheduled day of arrival we reserve the right to cancel any remaining nights on the booking.

It may very occasionally be necessary for the hotel to cancel a booking. In these circumstances we will advise you in writing, cancel the booking and refund any money paid in advance. 

For bookings of 6 rooms or more group terms apply.

For your convenience your card will be pre-authorised £30 per night of stay on arrival at the hotel for extras you may wish to charge to your room. The night prior to departure this pre-authorisation will be topped up to the amount of the outstanding charges.

Should you not wish to make charges to your room any spend you make on site will require payment at time of purchase.

You may check into your room from 3pm on the day of arrival and check out by 11am on day of departure. Requests for an early check-in or late check-out cannot be guaranteed or may be subject to an additional charge.

Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa operates a smoke free policy (including e-cigarettes) throughout all internal spaces including, but not limited to, bedrooms, public areas and function rooms. A penalty charge will apply for each breach of this policy.

Reservations for dining in our restaurants should be made at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment. Weekends at Rutland Hall Hotel are especially popular. Unfortunately without pre-booking we cannot guarantee specific times or table sizes. This also applies if you are staying with us on a dinner inclusive package and so we may choose to reserve a time on your behalf at time of booking.

Our guests have complimentary use of our leisure facilities during their stay, check-in and check-out times. Please note that our leisure facilities have their own terms & conditions of use, including with regards to children, that must be adhered to.

All printed offers are valid for up to three months after the date of publication unless otherwise specifically advised on the offer. All offers are subject to availability, and dining offers require pre-booking (within the offer validity period), and a maximum of six guests per booking applies.

Where referred to in a special offer on our website, the following applies:

*Free Afternoon Tea​- This applies to individuals in your booking party booked on the same offer and can only be claimed once

* Free breakfast​​- This applies to individuals in your booking party booked on the same offer and is available each day of your stay

* Sign-up competition​- Only NEW sign ups are entered into the competition

Complimentary stays are bookable for stay dates within the allocated time period on the voucher, or within 12 months of issue unless otherwise stated. All complimentary stays and other complimentary vouchers are subject to availability, not valid over Bank Holidays, Christmas or event days such as Valentine's, Mother’s Day and Easter,  and the hotel reserves the right to apply further black-out dates at its discretion.
