Looking for a little festive treat in the run-up to Christmas?

We’re offering an exclusive festive afternoon tea to kick-start the celebrations. With delicious food and a host of exciting activities, it’s the perfect way to get you and your family in the Christmas spirit.

Here, we’re sharing the details of our festive afternoon tea offering:

Festive Afternoon Tea: Welcoming Families of All Ages

Santa Claus himself is inviting guests of all ages to join him at our beautiful waterside retreat for a truly magical Christmas-themed afternoon tea, which will be taking place from Saturday 18th to Thursday 23rd December.

Served up by Santa’s cheeky elves, our festive afternoon tea includes a variety of homemade cakes, scones, and a selection of finger-sized sandwiches.

There’ll be an array of Christmas colouring activities on each table, alongside a letter to Santa for children to write. These personalised letters can then be dropped off in our special post box ahead of the big day.

What You Need to Know About Our Festive Afternoon Tea

It is important to note that although Santa is all-seeing and all-knowing, one of his gaps in knowledge is allergies and dietary requirements.

Therefore, if you or a member of your family has an allergy, dietary requirement, or special request please let us know in advance. This will ensure you have a stress-free, enjoyable afternoon.

Our festive afternoon tea experience costs £25 per adult and £15 per child, running each day from 3pm to 5pm.

Although reindeers are strictly prohibited, dogs are very welcome on the premises, so do bring them along to join in with the festivities.

Exciting Activities for All the Family

You’ll be treated to an exclusive performance by a local theatre group called The Wildcats. They’ll be putting on an array of fun theatrical antics, games and entertainment, such as parachutes, hoop games and storytime.

Our owner here at Rutland Hall shared his thoughts on our festive afternoon tea experience. He said, “We love Christmas at Rutland Hall, and decided to have a bit of festive fun with our afternoon tea offerings this year.

“We hope the Christmas-inspired afternoon tea will get people into the festive spirit and remind them what this time of year is all about – spending time and making memories with family and friends.

“We will also be offering a variety of other seasonal activities at the hotel in the lead-up to Christmas, so watch this space for more information coming soon.”

If you’d like further information about our festive afternoon tea experience or would like to book, please contact a member of our team.
