Did you see us on the BBC?!

Excitingly, two of our hotel lodges were recently used by some interior design enthusiasts for the BBC’s Interior Design Masters!

Tasked with creating rooms suitable for the night before a wedding, these designers did an incredible job; keep reading to find out more about the show and what they created:

Hotel Lodges: Interior Design Masters

Hotel Lodges | Interior Design Masters

On April 11th, two of our lodges featured on an episode of the BBC’s Interior Design Masters, hosted by Alan Carr.

Now available on iPlayer, you can watch as the contestants were tasked with creating accommodations for the night before a wedding in two hotel lodges.

With one tailored towards grooms, and the other towards brides, the contestants decorated the lodges to fit the theme and help provide the wedding party with a place to relax the night before their wedding.

Hotel Lodges | The Aim of The Game

Interior Design Masters is the perfect program for those looking to show off their interior design skills, with 10 budding designers showcasing their talents to create an array of impressive rooms and spaces.

Interior design guru, Michelle Ogundehin, judges these spaces, and the winners are put forward to the next stage of the competition — eventually winning a contract to design a high-end cocktail bar, as well as achieving their dream.

Here at Rutland Hall, we hosted the quarter-finals of the show and got to witness the impressive work of the contestants as they temporarily transformed our hotel lodges into chic, stylish spaces.

Comments From Our Managing Director

Discussing the show and the work of the designers, our managing director, Joanne White, said: “We loved being involved in the show and are so happy to have seen the designers’ creativity.

These temporary lodge designs created the perfect place for the close friends and family of the couple to unwind and relax before their special day, with the added bonus of the beautiful views of Rutland Water.

Everyone at the hotel was so excited to be involved in showing audiences across the nation that we are one of England’s best-kept secrets. I hope it encapsulates how special our destination hotel is in providing the perfect venue for creating lasting memories.”
