Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa COVID Policy
Welcome from Rutland Hall Hotel
During these changing times we are committed to ensuring your safety, peace of mind and well-being. Our measures align with government guidelines and will be adapted as rules change. We endeavour to keep you informed of any changes, and welcome you to contact the hotel directly should you have any queries.
With Covid-19 still very present in our lives we have tailored policies to keep you as safe and as comfortable as possible. Your health and peace of mind is of utmost importance to us. We have taken significant precautions whilst keeping the hotel operational to ensure the well being of our guests, staff and suppliers. We hope our protective measures will put you at ease and enable you to enjoy your time with us. As part of our commitment to keep everyone safe, in some instances we may adopt ‘best practice’ which may be stricter than government guidelines.
➢ Deep cleaning
➢ Hands, face, space
Our housekeepers have researched and sourced a special cleaning product called ‘safe zone’ which is in line with Covid-19 guidelines published by the government. Additional team members have been recruited, allowing for more hours of socially distanced cleaning to ensure all areas are meticulously cleaned and sanitised while keeping our colleagues as safe as possible. Keeping up to date with protocol, following advice from NHS and government.
We have indoor and outdoor options available for your dining. Our new Restaurant offers socially spaced out tables and table service. Our colleagues undergo daily briefing and regular training on standards of health and hygiene and we are proud to have such robust internal policies.

Message from General Manager John Higham:
‘We are keeping up to date with government policies and will endeavour to keep everyone as safe as possible. We request and advise that everyone remain respectful and follow the amended procedures as and when new rules come into force. On arrival, we will continue to encourage use of temperature checks machines, face masks and hand sanitisation facilities, which are available in most common areas of the hotel. We have taken precautionary measures by limiting our capacity, to ensure plenty of space for all guests. We look forward to welcoming you here, and we are happy to inform you that we will continue to operate within government guidelines.’
